| The University of Sydney head says that the introduction of a proposed free speech code is far from straight forward, warning of legal "minefields" in the future if incorrectly implemented.
Vice chancellor Michael Spence made the observation with his announcement of a high-powered group to provide advice on the best way to adopt the code.
"We've said from the beginning that the model code is a good piece of work ... but we're not just going to take the text of the code and adopt that text," he said.
