In an anarcho-capitalist society, we must have some sort of law and order to uphold the non-aggression principle. Take into consideration that if we do end up having the state abolished, not everyone in our free society will believe in the system. Anarcho-communists, anprims, mutualists, etc. all have their way pf doing things, and if we abolish the state, then just as much as we try and set up an anarcho-capitalist society, so will every other anarchist attempt to set up their society.

Ancoms will try to abolish private property and set up communes. Who is to stop a group of ancoms taking over a section of land that is up for grabs and instating communist policies? What if there are property owners in that section of land that do not want to be involved with communistic rule, but there's no one there to protect him from the ancoms?

Police is necessary as to ensure that no one's rights are violated. The free-market obviously can provide this resource, but it won't have the ability to tax to gain funding for it. I only say this because I know there are some ancaps out there who hate the police and see it as unnecessary, but unless we have some type of force to keep the law breaker accountable, then all we have done is entered pure black flag anarchy.

Firstly, an ancap society would take years to establish. We cannot abolish the state overnight because that really would end up in anarchy. We have to get the people used to this amount of freedom and self-ownership before we up and instate it as the nationwide political system.

Ron Paul said that we should move towards anarchy, but we must gradually reach that end goal.

Private protection agencies are fine. They protect their clients...
As for commies who all voluntarily want a certain geo-area for themselves, that's fine also... but they can't impose it on unwilling participants, as that would be a violation of rights. If they persist, word will soon spread and we'll use them for target practice...

'Law' is a statist/religious concept, so I reject it outright. An ancap 'society' is a contractual society, so no overarching 'law' is needed. And yes I agree, it can't happen overnight, it is a gradual process...

We agree that the culture needs to change prior to the politics. That was Rand's view also.
